Realizing he couldn't get to the top by being a ventriloquist, he dropped the puppet Dickie from his act and now has gotten more success than ever before! In just one week, he will finally host his own late-night show! So what if he doesn't like his new material, he's made it...unless his old puppet friend has anything to say about it.

Shine On (3:04) Rosie Elliott (Barnard College of Columbia University); St. Petersburg Premiere
"Shine On" is a dance concept film, shot during the first wave of the pandemic. The film aimed to inspire others to continue to create amid tumultuous times. This Pink Floyd song is about loss viewed through an optimistic lens: I aimed to mirror that ethos in my film, adapting the narrative to current events. Shot on Miami Beach, with a crew of one, this experimental film shows that art can be made anywhere and through anytime.

The Pages of Destiny (14:00) USA; Italian language; Nicola Rinciari (Savannah College of Art and Design)
